RUF CTR3 Evo | Porsche Performance Elevated
Porsche has inspired admiration across generation and gained an esteemed position in car culture worldwide, but few have reimagined its potential like the visionaries at RUF Automobiles. With a legacy dating back to 1939, founder Alois Ruf Sr. laid the groundwork for what would become one of the most revered names in high-performance engineering.
By the 1960s, RUF had become known for their expertise in Porsche maintenance and repair. But it was in 1975 that they unveiled their first creation: the RUF Turbo – a prototype that pushed the boundaries of the contemporary 911 platform. Global recognition followed in 1987 with the debut of the now-legendary RUF CTR, affectionately known as the Yellowbird. The Yellowbird – and its BiTurbo successor – earned RUF worldwide fame, with the BiTurbo claiming the title of the world’s fastest road-legal car at the time with a top speed of 342 km/h (213 mph).
Fast forward to today, and RUF continues to lead with their latest evolution: the 2024 RUF CTR3 Evo. Featuring a 3.8L twin-turbo flat-six, this machine delivers a jaw-dropping 800 horsepower, 730 lb-ft of torque, and a top speed of 380 km/h (236 mph), all wrapped in a lightweight 1350 kg (2976 lb) chassis.
We are proud to share that the GAIN Group is now the official home of RUF Automobiles in Canada.
