Where Speed Meets Community | Cars with a Cause
At the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit, we believe our track is more than just a place for adrenaline and lap times — it is a venue where community, generosity, and shared passions come together. This summer, we proudly hosted two incredible charity events that made a real difference for local organizations. On August 4th, the 3rd annual Higgy’s On The Track motorcycle endurance race roared into action, with 17 determined teams riding for nine hours to raise over $50,000 for the Canadian Mental Health Association – Cowichan Valley Branch, the Cowichan Therapeutic Riding Association, and the Cowichan Brain Injury Society. Later in the month, Porsche Centre Victoria returned for their second annual fundraiser in support of the Island Kids Cancer Association, giving 43 children and their families an unforgettable day at the Circuit — complete with thrilling passenger laps in stunning Porsches. Thanks to the generosity of participating drivers and the dealership, this event raised over $100,000 for kids and families facing unimaginable challenges. These moments remind us that the Circuit’s true power lies not only in horsepower, but in the hearts of those who come together here.
