Circuit Fleet Spotlight | Grand Golf GTI
With over a dozen dealerships across Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit has no shortage of choice for access to some amazing automotive brands. While there are many worthy candidates, one stood out soundly as our choice to become the latest addition to our fleet. Courtesy of Volkswagen Victoria, we are excited to welcome the MK8 Volkswagen Golf GTI.
With nearly 50 years of hot hatch heritage behind it, the newest GTI does not disappoint. Sporting the proven formula of a peppy 4-cylinder engine powering the front wheels, this new GTI packs a hefty 242 turbocharged horsepower. It is remarkably well balanced with only the slightest hints of understeer on throttle, and even oversteer when hard on the brakes. The GTI has thus far received rave reviews from team and guests!
Finished in fetching Moonstone grey, and equipped with the slick DSG dual clutch transmission, we greatly look forward to sharing this iconic hot hatch and racking-up the miles with our guests!
