LIVE RACING AT VIMC – BC SUMMER SPRINT SERIES
Returning for its second year, the largest organized karting groups in British Columbia have come together for the BC Summer Sprint Series. Having cut their teeth in their first year of competition, we are excited to welcome this cross-province series for their return to the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit on September 9th and 10th. After hosting the opening competition last year, we cannot wait to host the final race of this season and witness the west coast top drivers race for every valuable point available.
The organizing club, the Vancouver Island Karting Association, is expecting a huge and varied field of drivers for both weekend races. As the home track for the past few years for VIKA, Vancouver Island’s largest karting club, we are deeply impressed and supportive of rapid growth in their membership and their drivers’ driving prowess. With experience-levels ranging from multi-seasoned veterans to kids starting their motorsport experiences, karting on the Vancouver Island has never been more exciting, and has so much more to come!
