Pro Driving Series | With Parker Thompson
Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit hosts some very cool driver development programs with one our highlights being our Pro Driving Series taught by current professional race car driver Parker Thompson. This Canadian native from Red Deer, Alberta got his start, like many current pro drivers, in karting. Parker is currently running in the IMSA Prototype Challenge and the Carrera Cup North America and has several podium finishes in both series this season.
This two-day High Performance Driving Experience is offered as a Level 1 and Level 2. This program can be purchased separately or as a combination and there is an option to rent our fleet vehicles for the Level 1 curriculum. Each day starts with a breakfast driver’s meeting at the picturesque Alpina Restaurant at the Villa Eyrie Resort with Parker and fellow participants. It’s then off to the circuit for morning instruction and lots of track time. Parker will evaluate and provide custom feedback and guidance during each day, and you’ll get a chance to ride along with Parker during the course. After lunch, there will be more driving and detailed instruction/ feedback before you head back to Alpina Restaurant for an intimate celebratory dinner with Parker.
