With the road course now complete, all other elements are rapidly coming together.  With the Clubhouse now reaching 90% completion, it’s making way for our team of instructors, chefs, servers, and member experience representatives, to progress with the next stages of each of their segments.
In no particular order, we would like to the companies and their teams who have worked very hard over the last week to bring this project to the finish line.
One touch house has installed the audio, PA and video equipment in the Clubhouse.  Now, all future events in the main clubroom, the Presentation Centre and the training rooms can take place without the need for any additional equipment. In total, the Clubhouse will include 14 large TV’s to transmit video feed throughout the building, a sound system for each individual and a speaker system that will allow all areas of the facility to be heard for announcements and events.
Richmond Elevator is finalizing the installation of our main elevator as well as the food service elevator.
The team from Island Floor Centre has traveled countless times to the Circuit to tile and carpet the Clubhouse. Thank you Mike Jawl, Randy Egli and the installation teams who have worked so hard to help us achieve our deadlines.
Our electrical installation team from Mazzei Electric is also coming to the end of this project.  Now, all that remains are the outside lamps, assist the TV installations and help to get the phone, timing, camera and traffic light systems installed and complete their permits inside and out. Well done Team Mazzei.
The glass partitions inside the classrooms, like any other glass in the building, has been installed by Rutland Glass and they will turn our classrooms into some of the most visually stunning meeting rooms anywhere.
Top line Roofing and Sheet Metal Inc, completed the exterior cladding of the Clubhouse to provide a wonderful finish to last a lifetime.
The kitchen installation has commenced and Lewis Sheet Metal is hard at work to install the ducting and hood fans for the stoves and hot cooking line.  What a site it was to see one of their technicians standing on top of the newly installed hood in order to connect the ducts.  That’s a true sign of the quality of their stainless steel work.
The team from E&K Painting out of Nanaimo completed the first several coats of paint for all areas of the Clubhouse and are now in the process of applying the final coat once all other trades have moved out.
The team from Communication Connection in Nanaimo has begun to installation of the high-tech camera systems, the track safety lights, the security cameras and the gate controls. Many of those systems are the first to be installed in a Canadian track facility and we can’t wait to see them in action next week. They are a true testament of the tech industry being alive and well on Vancouver Island.
Last but not least, the security systems for this important facility is getting installed by Secure Co, a local security specialist.
Apex Landscaping are now starting to start the landscaping for the entire property and we can’t wait to see if when it’s all complete.
Once again, thank you to everyone for all of their hard work, especially the team at SupErb Construction and Triple T Excavating fro helping us achieve this ambitious finishline.
Until next week!
