We walked the track last Saturday to inspect the progress and to get a first real feel of the future layout of corners and straights. The team at Triple T Excavating is hard at work under the supervision of Chris Erb at SupErb Construction. The circuit is laid out and the over burden soil (not useable soil) has been removed and now the final cuts and fills take place. This will bring the track bed to the final levels before back filling the precise layers of gravel to allow the engineered secret mixture of asphalt to be installed.
This is our first test track project, but in essence it is a similar process as all the other projects we have built in previous years. All in all Superb and Gain have built 5 Complete Dealerships together and they all turned out exactly as planned. It all starts with the property and when walking the land before construction, you can hardly imagine what it will feel like when it is complete. As seen in the construction of BMW Nanaimo below.
In the beginning, the cleanup leads to the excavation to prepare for the buildings solid foundations. Then, construction starts from the ground up and the structures begin to take shape. Then the many features and equipment are installed until the final touches of paint and landscaping are complete any project.
Soon after the new and beautiful building takes it rightful place in the community and neighbourhood bringing the new employees and visitors’ together working on relationships that can last a lifetime. After a few months nobody remembers what it felt like before it all began and the quality of craftsmanship and design will make this new project last for many years.
We truly look forward to seeing this project grow and the impact it will make for all automotive and motorcycle enthusiasts across Vancouver Island and Western Canada. We are certain it will become one of the main attractions of the Cowichan Valley and once again enhancing the numbers of visitors to Vancouver Island.
