As part of the 2025 Gull Wing Group Convention, Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit was honoured to welcome an extraordinary lineup of 30 legendary 300 SLs and SLS AMGs to our track — a breathtaking sight for any automotive enthusiast. Adding to the magic, our GAIN Group COO – Peter Trzewik – collaborated with Marcus Breitschwerdt – Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz Heritage in Stuttgart – to bring to Canada one of the rarest and most celebrated vehicles in automotive history: the 1955 W196 300 SLR. Built as a pure racing machine and famously driven by legends like Stirling Moss, this masterpiece represents the pinnacle of Mercedes-Benz’s motorsport heritage. With only two ever produced, having it on display at the Villa Eyrie Resort was not just a privilege — it was a once-in-a-lifetime moment for our guests and team alike.
