Last Monday’s grand opening of Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit signalled the start of what track operations manager Brent Evans hopes will be “prosperity for years to come” in terms of economic spinoffs.
Right in the heart of idyllic Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island is a world-class raceway, a Federation Internationale de l’Automobile-designed track with five combinations for different activities, of Formula One quality, but laying resplendent amidst waves of scenic greenery.

Fortunately the latest slice of asphalt heaven, carved into 275 acres of gorgeous timber country on Canada’s Vancouver Island, has its sights set clearly on what matters.
Opening June 6, this track is the first of its kind in Canada, an all-season motorsports country club that will offer members rare, year-round access to a professional-quality circuit.
