To us, the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit is one of the most unique motorsport facilities in the country, if not North America, but what makes it even more special is hearing all the wonderful feedback and comments from our members and their guests regarding how the Circuit makes them feel and what it means to them.

While the Coquihalla Highway from Vancouver to the interior of British Columbia and the connector between Merritt and Penticton are expecting up to 30 cm of snow tonight, the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit is in full speed with our Saturday Members Day in the eye of the storm and at 12 degrees Celsius.
With a consistent record of designing individual and state-of-the-art race tracks – including grandstands, pit buildings, team buildings and other infrastructure facilities– by fulfilling their clients’ needs, Tilke has led the industry in effecting permanent design changes that vastly improved both the excitement and safety levels of major race tracks around the world.
When it comes to our membership packages, one of the first questions people ask is “why do you not list prices on our website?” The answer is simple.
When the GAIN Dealer Group first began to consider the this project, the decision was taken to seek advice and instruction from the very best in the field. Tilke GMBH & Co, the world’s foremost designer of race and test facilities, was invited to assist.
It’s clear to see what Tilke GMBH & Co had in mind when they designed the circuit. Forms to create the curbing will begin to be placed within the next week. The track will then receive a light “crush” topping (a light aggregate) prior to final grading.
The time is finally here to reveal the last remaining section of the track…
The track continues to move forward in a steady pace and it’s all coming together quite nicely with the hard work of both SupErb Construction and Triple T Excavating.
Meet Peter Wahl, Architect, Engineer and Managing Partner at Tilke GMBH & Co, the world’s most foremost designer of race and test facilities and learn more about his recent visit to Vancouver Island.
